Hey, I'm Chris
Rooted in a Bachelor of Fine Arts of Photography, my practice began with a deep immersion into the technical power of light and shadow. That rigorous studio training taught me how to truly see, manipulate, and honor a story within a frame.
Today, that formal foundation anchors a multi-disciplinary approach. I intentionally refuse to be boxed into a single genre; instead, I apply the same precision required for a quiet Oregon landscape to the chaotic, raw energy of a nightlife dance floor. Whether documenting high-voltage events or wandering through a peaceful mountain forest, my goal is to find the extraordinary within the ordinary.
My process is entirely collaborative, meaning I handle the heavy lifting so the experience feels effortless, streamlined, and completely supportive for my clients. From the first spark to the final polished frame. When I’m not behind the lens for clients, I’m usually off-grid. Immersing myself in the wilderness isn't just a hobby, it's a vital part of my creative process where I slow down, experiment with shifting light, and keep my artistic vision sharp.
